island6 is an art center based in Shanghai’s M50 Arts District with a production site and an adjoining gallery to display new media artwork.

The gallery is looking for candidates who are serious about developing a career in the art industry. Candidates should be reliable and self-motivated. Punctuality, professionalism, and passion for art is key to a successful partnership with island6.

Art Gallery Attendant

Requirements：

1.To receive visitors, answer incoming calls, registration information, collate copywriting

2.Gallery daily maintenance

3.To assist in the upcoming exhibitions and events

4.To assist in the creation of marketing materials

Position Requirements：

1.Already living in Shanghai

2.Passion for art

3.5 working days a week

4.Willing to work events and openings

5.Exceptional initiative, attention to detail, and follow-though skills

6.Possess multi-tasking and coordination experience

7.Can easily handle deadlines and pressure

8.Knowledge of MS Office Suite

9.Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator is a plus, but not required

10.Possess excellent verbal communication skills in English & Mandarin
