Art+ Shanghai Gallery was founded in October 2007 by four partners with a long-standing passion and involvement in art. The gallery is dedicated to showcasing, promoting, and developing contemporary art, with a particular focus on emerging and mid-career artists who possess unique artistic styles and produce high-quality works. Located within the historic Yi Feng Building, it's a short walk to the renowned Shanghai Bund. The gallery holds its own pulse in the realm of contemporary Chinese art.

In addition to hosting group and solo exhibitions for artists, Art+ Shanghai Gallery also offers art consultancy services for private individuals and corporate clients.

Art+ Shanghai Gallery resonates with the avant-garde and vibrancy of Shanghai as an international metropolis and continuously introduces refreshing art projects.

Graphic Designer

As a graphic designer, your role will involve creating eye-catching visuals for various activities in the gallery, including:

- Website

- Advertising

- Exhibition catalogues

- Posters

- Exhibition layouts

- Corporate communications

- 3D visual proposals for special client requests

Responsibilities:

As a graphic designer, you will need to:

- Think creatively to generate new ideas and concepts

- Develop design briefs that align with the client's objectives

- Work with various media, including computer-aided design (CAD)

- Have the ability to perform video editing for presentations

- Proofread to ensure accurate and high-quality work

Skills:

- Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign and Illustrator

- Basic video editing skills

- Familiarity with C4D software or similar 3D software

- Strong organizational skills, multitasking abilities, and meeting deadlines

- Attention to detail and accuracy

- Bachelor's degree required

- 2-3 years of relevant graphic design experience and familiarity with aesthetic design concepts and layout principles would be a plus

In addition to technical and drawing skills, you should demonstrate:

- Passion and enthusiasm for design, with a creative flair

- Flexibility when working in a team

- Excellent communication skills in Chinese and English

- Good presentation skills

- Time management skills and the ability to handle multiple - projects simultaneously

- Attention to detail when finalizing designs

- Openness to feedback and willingness to make changes to your designs
