He is currently the Chair of the Department of Veterinary Medicine and serves as a council member of the Veterinary Pathology Branch of the Chinese Society of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Tan has led over 10 projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation as well as various provincial and ministerial-level initiatives. His research interests primarily focus on pathogen-host interactions and the mechanisms of inflammatory regulation. Elucidation of immune evasion mechanisms of key pathogenic bacteria Eligibility Criteria (1) Applicants must have recently completed their PhD and be under the age of 35. They should also be able to commit to full-time employment at Zhejiang University. (2) A strong background in gut microbiome genomics, pathogen-host interactions, or related fields is required. (3) Proficiency in both reading and writing English is essential, with the ability to independently write academic papers in English. Curriculum Vitae (CV), including educational background, research experience, academic achievements, English proficiency, and brief personal information. 2. A brief statement of research interests and future plans (no more than 500 words) outlining the applicant’s intended research goals during the postdoctoral appointment.
