Heating and current drive (H&CD) are critical components for the operation of the spherical tokamak systems under development at ENN. This role involves theoretical development, experimental validation, and integrated modeling of advanced heating schemes to enable efficient, non-inductive plasma operation.
What you'll do:
● Develop innovative RF and neutral beam injection (NBI) heating scenarios.
● Model and optimize EC, LHW, ICRF, and NBI systems for Xuanlong-50U and Helong-2.
● Validate physics models through experiments and benchmark against diagnostics.
● Support real-time control integration for feedback-modulated heating systems.
任职要求
Who we’re looking for:
● Ph.D. in Plasma Physics, with expertise in RF heating and current drive.
● Familiarity with ray-tracing, full-wave and NBI solvers.
● Experience in coupling heating models into integrated simulation platforms.
● Programming skills (e.g., Fortran, Python, MATLAB) and familiarity with high-performance computing.
● Publications in peer-reviewed journals and international collaboration experience are preferred.
