Qualifications

We are looking for a hands-on Site Operations Specialist to manage the IT and Operational Technology (OT) landscape on our production floor in Thailand. This is not a standard desktop support role. The primary focus will be ensuring the high availability of our Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) systems and the underlying site production systems. You will act as the bridge between information technology and the physical manufacturing machinery.

Experience: Proven experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Hands-on experience with AGV systems

Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Industrial Networks

Soft Skills: Ability to work physically on the production floor

Preferred Qualifications: Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) integration. Certifications in networking (CCNA) or specific AGV vendor training. Knowledge of safety standards regarding autonomous machinery.

The primary focus will be ensuring the high availability of our Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) systems and the underlying site production systems. You will act as the bridge between information technology and the physical manufacturing machinery.

AGV Fleet Management: Serve as the primary technical point of contact for the AGV system. Monitor fleet health, troubleshoot vehicle stoppages, manage traffic control servers, and coordinate with vendors for major repairs.

Production Floor IT/OT Support: Maintain and troubleshoot all IT infrastructure directly impacting production, including industrial PCs (IPCs), HMIs (Human-Machine Interfaces), barcode scanners, and label printers on the assembly line.

System Administration: Manage the servers and software controlling the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and AGF (Automated Guided Vehicle) dispatch systems. Ensure patch management and system backups are conducted without disrupting production shifts.

Network Stability: Maintain the operational network (VLANs, switches) specifically for the production area, ensuring low-latency communication between the control servers and the AGVs.

Incident Management: Respond to critical production outages immediately (24/7 on-call rotation may apply). Perform root cause analysis for recurring technical issues on the shop floor.

Vendor Coordination: Liaise with AGV hardware/software vendors and automation engineers to implement system upgrades or expansions.
