About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Procurement expert to take ownership of logistics-related sourcing across Australia & New Zealand. This role will focus on linehaul transportation, fleet procurement, and vendor strategy, playing a key role in ensuring capacity, cost efficiency, and service quality.Key Responsibilities

Lead sourcing and procurement for linehaul, middle-mile, and fleet services, including trucking vendors, subcontractors, and leasing providers

Own end-to-end procurement lifecycle: RFQ/RFP, negotiation, contracting, and vendor onboarding

Develop and execute procurement strategies to ensure capacity stability and cost optimization

Build long-term partnerships with carriers and key vendors, improving service reliability and scalability

Monitor supplier performance (cost, SLA, on-time performance, compliance), and drive continuous improvement initiatives

Collaborate closely with Operations, Planning, and Finance teams to align procurement with business needs and growth plans

Analyze cost structures (e.g. per km, per route, fuel trends) and identify cost-saving opportunities

Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and internal policies

Requirements

5+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain, with solid exposure to logistics or transportation

Proven experience in linehaul or fleet procurement (trucking, carriers, 3PL, or similar)

Strong negotiation skills with a track record of delivering cost savings and vendor optimization

Ability to work independently and manage multiple vendors across regions

Strong analytical mindset and commercial awareness

Excellent stakeholder management skills in a cross-functional environment

Fluent in English; Mandarin is a plus
