QA Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform black box testing and manage system operation in Linux-based environments.

• Communicate with Autonomous Trucks (AT) using shell scripts for version updates and system commands.

• Log and track bugs using Jira, maintaining effective issue feedback loops with developers.

• Write and maintain test cases; collect and organize data in Excel and generate detailed Test Reports.

• Monitor testing procedures using tools like RViz and FMS, and conduct daily data logging and analysis.

• Collaborate with developers for root cause analysis and assist in resolving software defects.

• Document and update test protocols, including issue logs and KPIs for Joint Testing and operation sessions.

• Provide timely technical feedback and escalate critical issues to HQ when necessary.

• Support occasional overseas deployments and testing at customer sites.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields preferred (relevant experience considered).

• Proficiency in Linux commands and basic shell scripting.

• Familiarity with Python for code reading or minor script updates.

• Experience with software development/testing processes and bug management tools (e.g., Jira).

• Basic understanding of communication protocols such as TCP and MQTT.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

• Ability to multitask and remain detail-oriented under pressure.

• Comfortable working in a rotating night shift schedule (weekly rotation).

• Willingness to travel overseas for project deployment when required.

• Mandarin-speaking ability is preferred, due to coordination with HQ in Shanghai.
