Application Engineer

职位描述

1、Assist sales team with product demo and answer technical questions.

2、Help customers integrate lidar into their AV system or robotics system.

3、Provide support on LiDAR data communication and data analysis, which requires knowledge of Hesai SDK and ROS.

4、Help customers trouble-shoot LiDAR related issues, such as no data communication, data drop, unexpected data, etc. In case the issue cannot be fixed by himself/herself, need to discuss the issue with the engineering team in China.

5、Prepare failure analysis report for important issues.

6、On-site support customers on a as-needed basis.

任职要求

1、BS/MS in science, engineering.

2、Experience with LiDAR or similar technology is a plus.

3、Some level of software experience is required. Experience with ROS is a plus.

4、Global support experience is a plus. Can work flexibly and adapt to China timezone.

5、Fluent mandarin is a plus.

6、Self-motivated, reliable and responsible.

7、Need to travel on an as-needed basis.
