Lab Technician (TH)

1. Collect and prepare samples from various areas of the power plant, including raw water, treated water, wastewater, boiler water, cooling water, and other process samples.

2. Conduct routine chemical and physical analysis according to established laboratory procedures and testing methods.

3. Monitor key water quality parameters such as pH, conductivity, TDS, turbidity, COD, BOD, chlorine, hardness, alkalinity, and other relevant parameters.

4. Perform laboratory testing related to wastewater treatment and water quality control.

5. Monitor and record laboratory test results accurately and report abnormal or out-of-specification results to the supervisor and relevant departments.

6. Support environmental monitoring activities and ensure laboratory data meets applicable regulatory and company requirements.

7. Operate, calibrate, clean, and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments.

8. Prepare chemical solutions, reagents, standards, and testing materials used in laboratory analysis.

9. Maintain proper laboratory records, including test results, sampling records, calibration records, and chemical inventory.

10. Ensure chemicals and laboratory materials are properly labeled, stored, and handled in accordance with safety requirements.

11. Follow laboratory SOPs, work instructions, quality control procedures, and EHS requirements.

12. Assist with troubleshooting and investigation when laboratory results are abnormal or outside specified limits.

13. Coordinate with the Operation, Maintenance, EHS, and Water Treatment teams regarding laboratory results and process conditions.

14. Support external laboratory testing and environmental sampling activities when required.

15. Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards within the laboratory.

16. Participate in internal audits, environmental inspections, and other activities related to laboratory and environmental compliance.

17. Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by the supervisor.

任职要求

1. Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Chemistry, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, or a related field.

2. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

3. Experience in a power plant, waste-to-energy plant, wastewater treatment plant, environmental laboratory, or industrial laboratory will be an advantage.

4. Basic knowledge of laboratory testing methods, water quality analysis, and chemical handling.

5. Able to use basic laboratory equipment such as pH meter, conductivity meter, spectrophotometer, titration equipment, and other analytical instruments.

6. Good attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.

7. Able to work independently and as part of a team.

8. Willing to work in a shift-based power plant environment.

9. Good communication and problem-solving skills.

10. Basic computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office.

11. Good understanding of laboratory safety and chemical safety.
