Senior Backend Engineer (Payment Product and Solution) - Global Payment

About the Team:

The Global Payment team of ByteDance provides payment solutions - including payment acquisitions, disbursements, transaction monitoring, payment method management, foreign exchange conversion, accounting, reconciliations, and so on to ensure that our users have a smooth and secure payment experience on ByteDance platforms including TikTok.

1. Take end-to-end ownership of merchant payment business scenarios across the full payment lifecycle；

2. Develop and optimize payment modules covering merchant onboarding, transaction processing, clearing and settlement, revenue sharing, billing reconciliation, fee calculation, and tax invoicing;

3. Drive core system optimization and technical upgrades to ensure secure, stable, and efficient business operations;

4. Continuously improve system performance, scalability, and high availability;

5. Strengthen financial risk control and industry compliance capabilities across payment systems;

6. Adopt advanced technologies and engineering practices to improve R&D efficiency and overall business operational performance.

任职要求

Minimum Qualification:

1. Proficient in Java/Go and mainstream backend frameworks, with proven experience in distributed architecture and high-concurrency processing；

2. Familiar with common middleware including caching, message queues and databases; capable of independent core system solution design and iterative delivery；

3. Deep understanding of financial-grade requirements for high availability, reliability and data consistency; skilled in stability assurance strategies and fund risk control measures；

Preferred Qualification:

1. Familiar with payment business and system links; able to sort out business workflows, capital flow and information flow and deliver targeted solutions；
