The opportunity

Hitachi Energy Transformer Business Unit in Greater China operates across 55 cities, employs over 1,900 staff, and manages 5 transformer manufacturing plants. More than 90% of its sales come from locally manufactured products. We offer a comprehensive portfolio of Transformers Products, Solutions and Services.  Transformers are essential in all electricity-related fields and applications, including power generation, transmission and distribution, oil, chemical and gas, industrial manufacturing, semiconductor and data centers, as well as building and transportation sectors.

How you will make an impact

1. You will lead the development of design specifications and models, ensuring they meet all relevant standards and regulations.

2. You will conduct thorough design reviews and verifications, implementing modifications to elevate project quality.

3. You will monitor and manage project timelines, ensuring design milestones are achieved and projects are delivered on schedule.

4. You will conduct risk assessments, develop mitigation strategies, and seek opportunities for design innovations.

5. You will engage with customers to capture and incorporate their feedback into design solutions, enhancing customer satisfaction.

6. You will collaborate with the supply chain team to ensure designs are manufacturable and cost-effective, selecting optimal materials and components.

7.You will prepare and maintain detailed documentation that supports design processes and facilitates knowledge sharing.

8. You will identify and implement continuous design improvements based on test results and industry best practices, enhancing quality and efficiency.

9. You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

任职要求

1. Degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or a related field.

2. 2-5 years of experience in design engineering is preferred.

3. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

4. Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

5. Pro-active attitude, self-motivated and with a strong sense of ownership.

6. Open to change, feedback and continuous improvement.
