职位描述

Focused on leading our design Quality teams, the role includes :

1、Managing the Design Quality Engineering (DQE) function in each of our product development centres

2、Supervise the development of comprehensive test cases to validate each stage of product development with relevant, meaningful, accurate and trustworthy data for current and new product categories

3、Work closely with consumer insights teams to ensure the voice of the customer is systematically built into our product requirements and meaningfully translated into technical specifications

4、Improve the Quality function content in our integrated product development process (VSIPD) to bring the latest techniques and ideas to guide our design teams

5、Ensure that design quality processes are followed intelligently and diligently to develop robust, desirable products

6、Cooperate with our Supply Chain team to identify appropriate suppliers for new projects

7、Develop supplier capabilities in new product development

8、Be the voice of quality in technical and commercial reviews

9、Cooperate seamlessly with Manufacturing Quality teams to ensure smooth and efficient transitions into mass production achieving key metric targets (yield, U3PH, etc)

任职要求

Technical experience – you will be a seasoned, experienced and highly qualified design quality professional in consumer products. This must include heated and motorized consumer products such as power tools, vacuum cleaners, cooking products, etc.

Manufacturing experience – You will be familiar will all commonly used mass manufacturing processes and their applications and limitations; including injection moulding, metal stamping, surface treatments/coatings and finished goods assembly

Leadership – Our DQE teams are involved from product conception to stable production, so they touch every part of our product development process. Leading this team will require clear vision, direction and strong organizational skills

Data driven – You will use quality tools to compile, analyze and communicate project quality performance with ease. You will use data to prioritize activities and solve problems

Resolve – we need a calm, strong, determined leader with the maturity and knowledge to define the best paths forward. The ability to listen carefully, question thoroughly, then understand sometimes complex issues and make key decisions is critical for success in this role

Communication – you will be a strong and convincing communicator, capable of making presentations and leading meetings as well as individual coaching and encouragement
